Take home your own Design Wall !
A Sew-In with Portable and Free-Standing Design Wall option at Mary’s on Saturday July 26, 2025.
Registration is required for the Sew-In and the Design Wall Project.
The Design Wall Workshop takes about an hour- come anytime between 9A - 4P.
The Design Wall Option includes pre-cut PVC pipes to make a 6 X 6 foot portable, free-standing design wall, including flannel fabric, and PVC connectors. Demo and instruction by Teri, Amy, and Mary. Cost for the Design Wall is $90, pre-pay with registration.
Location of the Sew-In and Workshop will be emailed to registrants.
There is no charge to attend the Sew-In without purchasing a Design Wall Project.
You will have time to work on your own projects, such as a bag to carry your design wall pieces.
Also provided for SSMQG members: Kits of fabric and patterns for Sew Powerful Purses and donation quilts.
All are invited to bring your own projects to work on as well.
Bring for Sew-In: Sewing machine, power cord, and
a lunch potluck item to share.
Salads, ice tea, and chocolate will be provided each day.
Maximum of 12 attendees, on my large covered porch.

The Thurston County Fair allows local communities to showcase their work. Each year we have a Guild table, an interactive table, and a showcase of our quilts. Contact Cindy Todd to volunteer for our table.

Just three steps to enter and it is all free! 1. Set up an account. 2.Enter all your items. 3. Finish by pushing the payment button. This is free! Lastly, bring your textiles to the fair on Monday, July 21 1 – 7pm and food items on Monday, July 28 1pm – 7pm.
The quilt block contest is at Lost and Found Crafts. Please pick up your quilt block fabric kit there. Just bring the finished 12 1/2 “ block(s) to the fair on Monday, July 28 1 – 7 pm. No need to enter the block on the fair entry.
