Paper Piecing with Freezer Paper

For those new to Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) or who want a refresh, or want an easy, no tear (no “tears”) method that leaves NO MESS with tiny bits of paper everywhere after you struggle to get the paper pattern torn off the back of your blocks.

You will learn how to use freezer paper, as well as just plain paper to make precise blocks for any pattern designed for FPP. 

I’ll have a variety of easy and intermediate FPP patterns you can choose to make in class, OR, bring your own FPP pattern and fabric (washed, dried, starched and pressed) and I’ll help you get started.  (It will be helpful to send me a photo of the pattern beforehand to zoom@southsoundmqg.org).
