Outdoor Quilt Show in Tacoma

On Sat, Aug 10, SSMQG and Tacoma MQG will have an outdoor quilt show in Tacoma. Setup: 9-10 am. Show 10 am-1 pm We will run a couple clotheslines and hang our quilts on the playground fence at Washington Elementary School (2615 N. Adams St.) in Tacoma.

Bring a modern quilt (less than 87” tall), a sheet to hang in back of your quilt to keep it from getting dirty, a chair, a beverage, and lunch. We’ll sit on the sidewalk and chat with folks walking by. Proctor district in the summer is hopping, with restaurants and shops and a Farmer’s Market a few blocks away. (Bathrooms are across the street at Wheelock library and diagonally across the street at Amy’s office.)

Cost: $0. Please let Amy know if you plan to be there so we have enough supplies (soaringcranio@gmail.com). If it rains, we won’t do it.
